Miss Venezuela 1969
Miss Venezuela 1969 was the 16th edition of Miss Venezuela pageant held at Teatro Paris (now called Teatro La Campiña) in Caracas, Venezuela, on July 1, 1969. The winner of the pageant was María José Yéllici, Miss Aragua. The pageant was broadcast live by RCTV. On October, Yellici resigned after 3 months of her reign, and Marzia Piazza, Miss Departamento Vargas was crowned as Miss Venezuela 1969. Aragua (state)
Aragua State ( es, Estado Aragua, ) is one of the 23 states of Venezuela. It is located in the north-central region of Venezuela. It has plains and jungles and Caribbean beaches. Apure
Apure State ( es, Estado Apure, ) is one of the 23 states of Venezuela. Its territory formed part of the provinces of Mérida, Maracaibo, and Barinas, in accordance with successive territorial ordinations pronounced by the colonial authorities. In 1824 the Department of Apure was created, under jurisdiction of Barinas, which laid the foundations for the current entity.
