Miss Universo Chile 2011, the 48th Miss Universe Chile pageant, was the return of Chile to the Miss Universe pageant after 4 years of absence. The winner, Vanessa Ceruti, was crowned at the Enjoy Santiago, Casino & Resort on July 13, 2011 and she represented her country in Miss Universe 2011 in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011. Pedro Frugone
La Ley (; ) were a Chilean rock band formed by Andrés Bobe, Rodrigo Aboitiz, Luciano Rojas and Mauricio Claveria with Beto Cuevas. History After an unsuccessful first album, ''Desiertos'' (1990), they released '' Doble Opuesto'' (1991), which appears as the official first album of the band. Miss Universo Chile 2005, the 46th Miss Chile pageant, was held in Santiago de Chile on May 9, 2005. The pageant was broadcast live on TVO from Hacienda Santa Martina. At the conclusion of the night, outgoing titleholder Gabriela Barros crowned Renata Ruiz as the new Miss Chile. Final Results Delegates 14 delegates were selected this year. Renata Ruiz
Renata Ruiz Pérez (born 9 May 1984) is a Chilean model. She was the winner of the contest Elite Model Look Chile 2001. In September of the same year she took part in the international contest (Nice, France), where she competed with more than 60 delegates of 40 countries. The winner was the Dutch Rianne Ten Haken, and Ruiz was the 1st runner-up. The third position was for another Dutch, Femke Lakenman. Ruiz represented Chile in Miss Universe 2005 in Thailand.
