Laura González (Miss Colombia)
Laura González Ospina (born 22 February 1995), also known as Laura Barjum, is a Colombian actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was Miss Colombia 2017 and later represented her country at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, where she finished 1st Runner-Up. Personal life González was born in Cali but moved to Cartagena when she was six months old. She attended high school in Cartagena Modern Gymnasium and Dramatic Art at the School of Education Actoral House Ensemble. She speaks Spanish, English and French. María Fernanda Aristizábal Urrea (born 19 June 1997) is a Colombian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Señorita Colombia 2019. Aristizábal is the first delegate from Quindío to ever be crowned Miss Colombia. She represented Colombia in Miss Universe 2022 and placing Top 16. Early life Aristizábal was born in Armenia, Quindío. Her father is Bernardo Alonso Aristizábal Franco and her mother is Bertha Lucía Urrea Posso. She is of Basque descent, from Spain and France. Aristizábal completed her elementary and high school education at the Catholic school Colegio Franciscano San Luis Rey in Armenia. Miss Universe 2022 will be the 71st Miss Universe pageant, to be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on January 14, 2023. Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event. Contestants from 84 countries and territories will compete in this year's pageant. The competition will be hosted by Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo; Culpo last served as host during Miss Universe 2020, while Mai last served as backstage correspondent during Miss Universe 2014. Miss Universe 2021 was the 70th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel on December 13, 2021. At the end of the event, Andrea Meza of Mexico crowned Harnaaz Sandhu of India as Miss Universe 2021. It is India's first victory in 21 years, and the third victory of the country in the pageant's history. Sandhu became the first ever Sikh to win the title of Miss Universe, and the first contestant born in the 2000s to win in any of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Cartagena, Colombia
