Miss Ukraine Universe
Miss Ukraine Universe (or Miss Universe Ukraine / uk, Міс Україна — Всесвіт) is one of the biggest beauty pageants in Ukraine. The winner represents Ukraine at the most prestigious international beauty contest "Miss Universe". The pageant exists since 2006, after the Miss Ukraine Organization lost the Miss Universe franchise to Oleksandra Nikolayenko. The winner of the pageant represents Ukraine at the Miss Universe contest. Previously, the representative of Ukraine was chosen by the Miss Ukraine Committee. The current holder of the Miss Ukraine Universe title is Viktoria Apanasenko from Chernihiv, who received the title on June 15, 2022. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Hundreds and thousands of beauty contests are held annually, but the Big Four are considered the most prestigious, widely covered and broadcast by media. Miss Universe 2022
Miss Universe 2022 will be the 71st Miss Universe pageant, to be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on January 14, 2023. Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event. Contestants from 84 countries and territories will compete in this year's pageant. The competition will be hosted by Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo; Culpo last served as host during Miss Universe 2020, while Mai last served as backstage correspondent during Miss Universe 2014. Miss Universe 2023
Miss Universe 2023 will be the 72nd Miss Universe pageant to be held on late 2023 in El Salvador. R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event. Background Location and date On 14 January 2023, Salvadoran president Nayib Bukele announced that this edition will be held in El Salvador before the end of 2023, the last time it was hosted in 1975, making the return of hosting the event in Latin America since 2011. Selection of participants Contestants from five countries and territories have been selected to compete in the competition.
