Miss Tahiti
Miss Tahiti is a French Polynesian beauty pageant which selects a representative for the Miss France national competition from the overseas country of French Polynesia. Despite its name, women from all of French Polynesia are eligible to compete, not solely those from Tahiti. Miss Tahiti has been held annually since 1960. The current Miss Tahiti is Herenui Tuheiava, who was crowned Miss Tahiti 2022 on 24 June 2022. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Hundreds and thousands of beauty contests are held annually, but the Big Four are considered the most prestigious, widely covered and broadcast by media. Miss France 2022
Miss France 2022 was the 92nd edition of the Miss France pageant. The competition was held on 11 December 2021 at the Zénith de Caen in Caen, Normandy. Amandine Petit of Normandy crowned Diane Leyre of Île-de-France. Background Location By July 2021, the Zénith de Caen in Caen had confirmed that the venue was scheduled to host the Miss France 2022 competition on 11 December 2021, although this had not been confirmed by the Miss France Committee. Miss World 2015
Miss World 2015, the 65th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 19 December 2015 at the outdoor arena of the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. 114 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Rolene Strauss of South Africa crowned her successor Mireia Lalaguna of Spain at the end of the event. It was the first time in the history of Miss World that Spain won the pageant. Miss France 2016 was the 86th Miss France pageant, held in Lille on 19 December 2015. Miss France 2015, Camille Cerf crowned her successor Iris Mittenaere at the end of the event.
