Miss Perú 2019
Following the dethronements (please read below for further info) of Anyella Grados and Tiffany Yoko Chong; the president of the Miss Peru Organization, Jessica Newton took the decision to organize a special edition of the Miss Peru 2019 pageant. The new format consisted of ten former contestants that had previous pageant experience whether at international or national level to compete for the national crown and to represent the country in other selected pageants. This edition was held on the night of October 20, 2019, at the Maracaná Event Center in Jesús María, Lima, Peru after weeks of events. The theme of the contest consisted of a platform opposing violence against women, which is an ongoing social threat that keeps harming the Peruvian society, as well as the rest of Latin America. Kelin Rivera
Kelin Poldy Rivera Kroll (born 1 October 1993) is a Peruvian business manager, entrepreneur, social advocate, model, and beauty pageant titleholder who holds the international crown of World Miss University 2016 and the national crown of Miss Peru 2019. She represented Peru at the Miss Universe 2019 competition where she placed as a Top 10 finalist. Early life and education Rivera was born in the city of Arequipa, and was raised in the city of Oxapampa. She began modeling as a teenager and pursued a career in the country's capital, Lima. She eventually graduated with a degree in business administration from the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola. Karen Susana Schwarz Espinoza (born 21 January 1981 in Callao, Peru) is a Peruvian model and ex-TV host. She was the co-host of ''Yo Soy''. Career In 2011, Schwarz was part of the cast of the TV game show ''El último pasajero'', hosted by Adolfo Aguilar, as one of the three "aire hostess". San Juan de Miraflores is a district of the Lima Province in Peru. It is located in the Cono Sur area of the city of Lima. Is one of the new towns, that have been formed by the massive numbers of people moving from other towns of Metropolitan Lima (such as Miraflores, Surquillo, La Victoria, among others) and from the countryside.
