Miss Perú 2003
The Miss Perú 2003 pageant was held on April 29, 2003. That year, 38 candidates were competing for the national crown. The chosen winner represented Peru at the Miss World 2003. The Miss Universo Perú was chosen midway through the Miss Peru contest in a Gala de Belleza show, and would enter in Miss Universe 2003. The Miss Earth Perú would enter in Miss Earth 2003. The first runner up would enter in Miss Intercontinental 2003. The rest of the finalists would enter in different pageants. Claudia Ortiz De Zevallos
Claudia Ortiz de Zevallos Cano (born 9 November 1981) is a Peruvian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Perú 2003. On 9 April 2005 she was third runner-up in the Miss Asia Pacific pageant. Prior to that participation, she was a semi-finalist in both Miss Earth 2002 and Miss Universe 2003 pageants. In 2016 she was guest judge in the final Miss Peru 2016 pageant, celebrated in the Ecological Center and Studios of America Television Production, Pachacamac, Lima, Peru. Notes References

La Punta District
La Punta is a district of the Constitutional Province of Callao in Peru, and one of the seven districts that make up the port city of Callao. It is located on a peninsula in the western part of the province and is almost entirely surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, except on its northeastern side, where it is bordered by downtown Callao.
