Miss Nepal 2016
Hidden Treasures Fanta Miss Nepal 2016, the 21st annual Miss Nepal beauty pageant, was held on 8 April 2016 at Hotel Annapurna in Kathmandu. Miss Nepal 2015 Evana Manandhar crowned her successor Asmi Shrestha as Miss Nepal World 2016 to represent Nepal in the Miss World 2016. At the same event, Roshni Khatri was crowned as Miss Earth Nepal 2016 and Barsha Lekhi was crowned as Miss International Nepal 2016. The winner of Miss Nepal 2016 served as the brand ambassador of popular drink Fanta and WWF Nepal for a one year. In addition, she received Rs. 100,000 as prize for winning the title. The auditions of Miss Nepal were held in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Chitwan, Nepalgunj, Pokhara, Butwal and Kathmandu. Asmi Shrestha
Asmi Shrestha (born 30 June 1993) is a Nepalese model and the 2016 Miss Nepal titleholder. She won the Miss Nepal 2016 beauty contest and represented Nepal at Miss World 2016. Prior to participating in the Miss Nepal competition, Shrestha won the "Face of Classic Diamond Jewellers" competition in 2014. Early life and education Shrestha was born on 30 June 1993 in Tandi, Chitwan. She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ace Institute of Management, Kathmandu, in 2016. Career In 2010, Shrestha started her modelling career at age 16 at the Classic Diamond Jewelers. In 2012, she was featured in Sonam Tashi Gurung's music video for ''Birsana Sakinna''. Dharan ( ne, धरान) a sub-metropolitan city in Sunsari District of Province No. 1, Nepal, which was established as a fourth municipality in the Kingdom in 1958. Kirtipur (Nepal Bhasa: किपू ''Kipoo'') is a Municipality and an ancient city of Nepal. The Newars are the natives of Kipoo (Kirtipur) that is believed to be derived from Kirati King Yalamber.
