The Miss International Thailand ( th, มิสอินเตอร์เนชันแนลไทยแลนด์) is a beauty pageant that has been held every year since 2015 with winners competing in the Miss International, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants. Accordingly, ''Miss International Thailand'' is not related to the previous franchises of Miss Thailand or Miss Thailand World or Miss Universe Thailand. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Miss International 2012
Miss International 2012, the 52nd Miss International pageant, was held on October 21, 2012 at Okinawa Prefectural Budokan Arena Building in Okinawa, Japan. Fernanda Cornejo from Ecuador crowned her successor Ikumi Yoshimatsu from Japan at the end of the event. Yoshimatsu was dethroned shortly before the end of her reign, but she was not replaced. Miss International 2013
Miss International 2013, the 53rd Miss International pageant, was held on December 17, 2013 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Alejandra Andreu, Miss International 2008, crowned Bea Santiago of the Philippines at the end of the event. This was the second consecutive year Japan hosted the pageant. Punika Kulsoontornrut ( th, ปุณิกา กุลสุนทรรัตน์; born October 9, 1992) is a Thai beauty pageant titleholder, who represented Thailand in Miss Earth 2013 and Miss International 2014. She placed as 2nd Runner-up for both pageants. Since 2021, she has been assigned as the manager and runway coach for Miss Universe Thailand pageant. Miss International 2014, the 54th Miss International pageant, organized by the International Cultural Association held on November 11, 2014 at the Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan. Miss Grand Thailand ('' th, มิสแกรนด์ไทยแลนด์'') is a Thai beauty pageant that has been held annually since 2013 to select who represent Thailand at Miss Grand International. Sireethorn Leearamwat
Sireethorn Leearamwat ( th, สิรีธร ลีห์อร่ามวัฒน์; ; born 4 December 1993) is a Thai pharmacist and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss International 2019. She is the first woman from Thailand to win Miss International. Prior to winning Miss International, Leearamwat was crowned Miss Thailand 2019. She is also the first titleholder to have the longest reign in Miss International history, since the upcoming contest was canceled twice. Miss International 2022 was the 60th Miss International pageant, held at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan on December 13, 2022.
