Miss Grand Curaçao
Miss Grand Curaçao is a Curaçaoan beauty contest that chooses a representative for the Miss Grand International pageant. Silvienne Winklaar, the winner of the Miss Grand Curaçao 2014 pageant, was the first Curaçaoan to compete at Miss Grand International. Since 2019, the right to send Curaçaoan representatives to compete at Miss Grand International belonged to the Miss Curaçao organizer, Curaçao Beauty Pageant Committee, which was led by Ayshel Maria. Only one contest has been held; other titleholders were appointed by their respective licensees. The only placement of Curaçao at Miss Grand International was Kanisha Sluis in 2022, who reached the top 20. Señorita Curaçao (In Papiamento: ''Señorita Kòrsou'') is a national beauty pageant in Curaçao. This pageant is unrelated to the Miss Curaçao or Miss International Curaçao pageant. Miss Grand International 2014 was the second edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, held on October 7, 2014, at the Indoor Stadium Huamark, Bangkok, Thailand. Contestants from eighty-five countries and territories competed for the title, of whom the representative of Cuba, Daryanne Lees, was announced the winner and received a reward of 40,000 USD cash. Meanwhile, the representatives of Australia, Canada, Colombia, and Ethiopia were named the runners-up. Kanisha Sluis (born 12 August 1996) is a Dutch-Curaçaoan model and beauty pageant titleholder who crowned as Miss Curaçao 2015 and represented her country at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant where she placed in the Top 10 and Top 20 Miss Grand International 2022. Miss Grand Curaçao 2014 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Curaçao pageant, held on April 30, 2014, at the World Trade Center Curaçao (WTC) in the capital city, Willemstad. Eight candidates, who qualified for the pageant via an audition held on April 15 at the Molenplein School, competed for the title, and a nineteen-year-old tourism management student from the capital city, Silvienne Winklaar, was announced the winner. Winklaar then represented the country at the second edition of the Miss Grand International pageant held later that year in Thailand, where she was placed among the top 20 finalists of the Best National Costume contest.
