Miss Divine Beauty
Miss Divine Beauty is a national beauty pageant in India operating under the parent organization Divine Group, that primarily selects India's representatives to compete at Miss Earth, an annual international beauty pageant working towards environmental protection and promoting awareness. Miss Earth is one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants in the world. The reigning Miss Divine Beauty (Miss Earth India) is Rashmi Madhuri, who was crowned the title of Miss India Earth 2021 by the former queen Tanvi Kharote. Tanvi Kharote was crowned in 2020 by the Miss earth India 2019 titleholder Tejaswini Manogna. Also, Miss Divine Beauty has introduced a new Award "Beauty With A Responsibility" in 2021. This award aims to not only acknowledge the work done by the beauty queens in order to bring a substantial change but also support the future endeavours of their projects. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Hundreds and thousands of beauty contests are held annually, but the Big Four are considered the most prestigious, widely covered and broadcast by media. Miss Divine Beauty 2020 was the 2nd edition of Miss Divine Beauty held on 30 August 2020 virtually. Tejaswini Manogna crowned Tanvi Kharote as her successor at the end of the virtual pageant. Miss Earth 2019
Miss Earth 2019, the 19th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on October 26, 2019, at Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines where Nguyễn Phương Khánh of Vietnam was succeeded by Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico at the end of the event. This marks the first time Puerto Rico has won Miss Earth, becoming the first territory to win at least once in all of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Miss Earth 2020, the 20th anniversary of the Miss Earth pageant, the first virtual coronation of any major pageant in the world. The pageant was held on 29 November 2020 where Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico was succeeded by Lindsey Coffey of the United States at the end of the event. This marked the first time a delegate representing the United States won Miss Earth, becoming the fourth country to win all of the Big Four international beauty pageants at least once. Nguyễn Phương Khánh (born April 5, 1995) is a Vietnamese model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Earth 2018. She is the first Vietnamese woman to win the Miss Earth title, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants – the most coveted beauty titles when it comes to international pageant competitions.
