Miss District Of Columbia Teen USA
The Miss District of Columbia Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the District of Columbia in the Miss Teen USA pageant. With only three semi-finalist placings, the District of Columbia is one of the least successful jurisdictions at Miss Teen USA. One of those semi finalists, Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 2000 Tiara Christen Dews, was one of only three District of Columbia teens to win the Miss District of Columbia USA crown. Asia Hickman of Washington, D.C. was crowned Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 2022 on June 4, 2022 at the Carpenter Theater in Richmond, Virginia. She will represente District of Columbia for the title of Miss Teen USA 2022. Miss Teen USA 2015 was the 33rd Miss Teen USA pageant. It was held at the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas on August 22, 2015 and was hosted by Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady and television writer Nick Teplitz. Miss Teen USA 2006, the 24th Miss Teen USA pageant, was televised live from Palm Springs Convention Center, Palm Springs, California on August 15, 2006. The pageant was won by Katie Blair of Montana. For the third time, the pageant was hosted by Palm Springs. It had previously been held there in 2003 and 2004. On August 10, the 51 contestants competed in a preliminary presentation show where they were judged in swimsuits and evening gowns. Miss Teen USA 2007, the 25th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held on August 24, 2007 in Pasadena, California. At the conclusion of the final night of the competition Hilary Cruz of Colorado was crowned Miss Teen USA 2007 by outgoing titleholder Katie Blair of Montana. The event was hosted by Mario Lopez, who also hosted Miss Teen USA 1998 and Miss Teen USA 2003. In 2007 he also hosted the Miss America and Miss Universe pageants. The pageant was broadcast on NBC at 8:00 p.m. EST, rather than at 9:00 p.m. EST. To date, it was the final Miss Teen USA pageant to be televised on broadcast television due to NBC failing to renew its contract.
