Brad Miska is an American film producer and founder of Bloody Disgusting, a horror genre website known for covering horror films, video games, comics, and music. His films include the ''V/H/S'' trilogy of anthology film, anthology horror films, ''Under the Bed (2012 film), Under The Bed'', ''A Horrible Way to Die'' and ''Southbound (2015 film), Southbound''. Career Miska founded Bloody Disgusting in 2001 (under the pseudonym "Mr. Disgusting") with co-founder Tom Owen. Together, they run the site along with Adam Dodd and Jonathan Barkan. By 2007, the site had 1.5 million unique visitors and 20 million page views each month. In September 2007 a minority stake was purchased by The Collective, a Beverly Hills, California, Beverly Hills–based management company. Pali Miska
Pali Miska (19 May 1931 – September 2009) was an Albanian politician of the Communist Era. He served as Chairman of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania from 22 November 1982 to 19 February 1987. Miska was first as a party functionary in Fushë Arrëz, the largest Albanian state enterprise for timber production. In 1970, he was elected first-deputy of the People's Assembly (Alb: ''Kuvendi Popullor''), and served as member from the seventh to the end of the eleventh legislative term until 1991. In 1971, he became candidate of the Central Committee (CC) of the selected PPSh, and simultaneously the First Party Secretary in Pukë District in northern Albania. In September 1975, Miska succeeded the demised Koço Theodhosi as member of the Politburo of the Party of Labour of Albania without previous candidate status. Miska Magyarics
Miska Magyarics, official name Mihály Magyarics, ( sl, Miška Madjarič, Mihál Madjarič) (31 January 1825 – 8 January 1883) was a Hungarian Slovene poet. Magyarics was born in Mali Dolenci in the Kingdom of Hungary (now Dolenci, Slovenia). His parents were Jakab Magyarics, a Roman Catholic peasant, and Anna Messics. In the second half of the 19th century by right of the tradition of his village, Magyarics wrote a Catholic hymnal in Prekmurje Slovene (279 pages and 115 hymns). He died in Mali Dolenci and was buried at Dolenci Cemetery near St. Nicholas's Church on 10 January 1883. Maud Fuller Petersham (August 5, 1890 – November 29, 1971) and Miska Petersham (September 20, 1888 – May 15, 1960) were American writers and illustrators who helped set the direction for illustrated children's books that followed. The Petershams worked closely with such pioneering children's book editors Louise Seaman Bechtel and May Massee, and with such innovative printers as Charles Stringer and William Glaser. They worked as a seamless partnership for more than five decades. Both prolific and versatile, they produced illustrations for more than 120 trade and textbooks, anthologies, and picture books. Miska was a Palestinian village, located fifteen kilometers southwest of Tulkarm, depopulated in 1948. History Miska was founded by descendants of the Arabian tribe of Miskain during the 7th century Islamic conquest of Palestine. According to the Arab geographer Yaqut, writing in the 1220s, Miska was known for its fruit, especially the ''misk'' (musk) apple variety which was said to have been transferred to Egypt by the Fatimid vizier Abu Muhammad al-Yazuri, who died in 1058. Ottoman era The French commander Jean Baptiste Kléber and his troops passed by the village on their way to Napoleon's siege of Acre in 1799. Pierre Jacotin named the village ''Meski'' on his map from the same campaign. In 1870, Victor Guérin visited and estimated that the population of Miskeh was 300.
