Mischaël Modrikamen
Mischaël Modrikamen (born 22 February 1966) is a Belgians, Belgian right wing politician and lawyer. He is the co-founder and leader of the People's Party (Belgium), People's Party. He is the vice-president of the Alliance for Direct Democracy in Europe (ADDE) and the publisher of ''Le Peuple (Brussels), Le Peuple''. Early life and career His father Marcel Modrikamen, son of a Jewish immigrant from Poland who fled Antisemitism, anti-Semitism, was arrested by the Gestapo as a member of the Belgian Resistance during World War II. He became a political leader and trade unionist in Charleroi after the war. On 18 February 1991, Marcel Modrikamen was victim of a gun attack. He died a few years later of his injuries. According to his son, his father discovered irregularities in the Gailly Institute, a Belgian hospital situated in Wallonia. This may have been the reason for the attack.
