Xueta
The Xuetes (; singular , also known as and spelled as ) are a social group on the Spanish island of Majorca, in the Mediterranean Sea, who are descendants of Majorcan Jews that either were conversos (forcible converts to Christianity) or were Crypto-Jews, forced to keep their religion hidden. They practiced strict endogamy by marrying only within their own group. Many of their descendants observe a syncretist form of Christian worship known as Xueta Christianity. The Xuetes were stigmatized up until the first half of the 20th century. In the latter part of the century, the spread of freedom of religion and laïcité reduced both the social pressure and community ties. An estimated 18,000 people in the island carry Xueta surnames in the 21st century, but only a small fraction of the society (including those with Xueta surnames) is aware of the complex history of this group. Francisco Miró Quesada Cantuarias (21 December 1918 – 11 June 2019) was a Peruvian philosopher, journalist and politician. In his works he discusses the belief in "human nature" on the basis that any collective assumption about such a nature will be frustrating, and will have negative public results. He was interested in so-called "unorthodox logics". The term " paraconsistent logic" was coined in 1976 by him. He made his editorial debut in 1941, with Sense of the phenomenological movement. He was the first person of the Americas to hold the position of president of the International Federation of Philosophy Societies, elected in Moscow in 1990. Luis Jose Antonio Miró Quesada Garland (1914-1994) was a Peruvian architect, professor, essay writer, art critic and a promoter of modern architecture in Peru. He played an important part in the process of change in Lima, from a society rooted in tradition and academic canon into a modern one. Óscar Miró Quesada De La Guerra
Óscar Miró Quesada de la Guerra (1884–1981) also known as Racso, was a prominent Peruvian scientific journalist. He was born in Lima on July 30, 1884 and died in 1981. He was the son of José Antonio Miró Quesada and Matilde de la Guerra Gorostidi. Biography He completed his studies at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, which were oriented towards the humanities and social disciplines. He was a member of several academies in Peru. From the age of fifteen he began to write popular science articles in the "El comercio" newspaper in Lima – displaying a deep and varied culture – which were disseminated first in the Peruvian sphere and then in the American South and finally in Europe, his works dealt with – among others – psychoanalyst concepts, integral psychology, modern philosophy and relativity. Milo Quesada, born as Raúl GarcÃa Alonso, (16 April 1930 – 12 December 2012) was an Argentine actor. He started his career in Argentina with the movie ''Cristol de Hombres'' and other minor roles. He then moved to Spain, where his career expanded, and obtained several lead roles until the final years of the '70s. He participated in over 70 movies, including the Italian horror anthology Black Sabbath directed by Mario Bava, where he played the killer in the first part.
