Miroslav Romaschenko
Miroslav Yuryevich Romaschenko (russian: Мирослав Юрьевич Ромащенко, ; born 16 December 1973) is a Belarusian professional football coach and a former player. He is the manager of Russian Premier League club Akhmat Grozny. Playing career He made his debut in the Russian Premier League in 1994 for FC Uralmash Yekaterinburg. He sustained career-ending injury playing for national team in UEFA Euro 2000 qualifying match against Denmark in September 1998. He never fully recovered from the injury and retired in 1999. Coaching career As a coach, Romaschenko worked closely with Stanislav Cherchesov, following him as an assistant coach at Zhemchuzhina-Sochi, Terek Grozny, Amkar Perm, Dynamo Moscow, Legia Warsaw, Russia national team and Ferencváros. After 12 years as Cherchesov's assistant, on 18 August 2023 Romaschenko was hired as the manager of Russian Premier League club Akhmat Grozny, with a three-year contract. FC Amkar Perm (russian: link=no, Футбо́льный клуб "Амка́р" Пермь ) is a professional football club. Originally founded in 1994, it is based in the city of Perm. It was a participant in second-tier football from 1995 and in the Russian Premier League from 2004 to 2018, after which it was dissolved. Amkar's home stadium was the Zvezda Stadium. UEFA Euro 1996 Qualifying
Qualifying for UEFA Euro 1996 took place throughout 1994 and 1995. Forty-seven teams were divided into eight groups, with each team playing the others in their group both home and away. The winners of each group and the six best runners-up qualified automatically, while the two worst runners-up were involved in a play-off at a neutral venue. England qualified automatically as hosts of the event. This was the first European Championship qualifying phase in which three points were awarded for each win, as opposed to the two points that had been awarded previously. Dinamo National Olympic Stadium ( be, Нацыянальны Алімпійскі стадыён Дынама,''Nacyjanalny Alimpijski stadyjon Dynama'', ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Minsk, Belarus. It was reopened after a renovation project. Earlier it was used mostly for football matches and was the home ground of Dinamo Minsk, FC Minsk and the Belarus national football team. Stanislav Salamovich Cherchesov (russian: Станислав Саламович Черчесов, ; os, Черчесты Саламы фырт Станислав, Ĉerĉesty Salamy fyrt Stanislav; born 2 September 1963) is a Russian football manager and former international footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Soviet Union and Russia. Qualifying for the UEFA Euro 2000 final tournament, took place throughout 1998 and 1999. Forty-nine teams were divided into nine groups. All teams played against each other, within their groups, on a home-and-away basis. The winner of each group and the best runner-up qualified automatically for the final tournament.
