Miroslav Raičević
Miroslav Raičević ( sr-cyr, Мирослав Раичевић; born July 13, 1981) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. He also holds Greek citizenship, under the name of Miroslav Marinos-Raitsevits. He played as both a power forward and center. Professional career Raičević began his career playing with the youth teams of the Budućnost Peć. In 1998, he moved to the Greek League club Aris Thessaloniki, and he began his professional career there in the year 2000. In 2003, he won the FIBA Europe Cup championship with Aris, and he scored the final decisive shot in the very last seconds of the final game against Prokom Trefl Sopot. He also won the Greek Cup with Aris, in the year 2004. He has also played with Red Star Belgrade of the Adriatic League during the 2005–06 season. He won the Serbian Cup with Red Star that season. Vrbas (town)
Vrbas ( sr-Cyrl, Врбас; hu, Verbász) is a town and municipality located in the South Bačka District of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. As of 2011, the town had a population of 24,112, while the municipality had 42,092 inhabitants. Name Its name stems from the word "Willow" in the Serbian language. During the SFRY period, the town was renamed ''Titov Vrbas'' (meaning "the Vrbas of Tito"), after Josip Broz Tito. The power forward (PF), also known as the four or strong forward, is a position in basketball. Power forwards play a role similar to centers. When on offense, they typically play with their backs towards the basket. A player-coach (also playing coach, captain-coach, or player-manager) is a member of a sports team who simultaneously holds both playing and coaching duties. The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920. The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Arka Gdynia is a Polish professional basketball team, based in Gdynia. The team plays in the Polish PLK. The club's sponsorship name comes from the company Asseco. Historically the team is one of the most successful in Poland, mainly because of the nine championships in a row the team won from 2004 to 2012.
