Miroslav Raičević
Miroslav Raičević ( sr-Cyrl, Мирослав Раичевић; born July 13, 1981) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. He also holds Greek citizenship, under the name of Miroslav Marinos-Raitsevits. He played as both a power forward and center. Professional career Raičević began his career playing with the youth teams of the Budućnost Peć. In 1998, he moved to the Greek League club Aris Thessaloniki, and he began his professional career there in the year 2000. In 2003, he won the FIBA Europe Cup championship with Aris, and he scored the final decisive shot in the very last seconds of the final game against Prokom Trefl Sopot. He also won the Greek Cup with Aris, in the year 2004. He has also played with Red Star Belgrade of the Adriatic League during the 2005–06 season. He won the Serbian Cup with Red Star that season. Vrbas (town)
Vrbas ( sr-Cyrl, Врбас) is a town and municipality located in the South Bačka District of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. As of 2022, the town has a population of 20,892, while the municipality has 36,601 inhabitants. Name Its name stems from the word for 'willow' in Serbian. During the SFRY period, the town was renamed ''Titov Vrbas'' (meaning 'Tito's Vrbas'), after Josip Broz Tito. The Serbia and Montenegro men's national basketball team () also widely known as the FR Yugoslavia men's national basketball team, represented Serbia and Montenegro in international basketball competition, from 1993 to 2006. A.C. Doukas Basketball, commonly known as Doukas B.C. or Doukas, (Greek: Αθλητικός Σύλλογος Εκπαιδευτηρίων Δούκα/Α.Σ.Ε.Δ.) is a Greek professional basketball club that is based in Marousi, Athens, Greece. The EuroLeague is a European men's professional basketball club competition. The league is widely recognised as the top-tier and the most prestigious men's basketball league in Europe. The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. The ABA League, renamed the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the top-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia).
