Mirjam Bikker
Mirjam Hannah Bikker (born 8 September 1982) is a Dutch politician who has served as a member of the House of Representatives (Netherlands), House of Representatives since 2021 Dutch general election, 2021. A member of the Christian Union (Netherlands), Christian Union (CU), she was previously elected to the Municipal council (Netherlands), municipal council of Utrecht in 2006 Dutch municipal elections, 2006 and Senate (Netherlands), Senate in 2015 Dutch Senate election, 2015. Biography Bikker grew up in Moordrecht and Nunspeet; she attended her secondary education in Elburg. She studied law at Utrecht University and specialised in Constitutional law, constitutional and administrative law. As a student she was also chairwoman of Sola Scriptura, a local student society belonging to the Reformed tradition, Reformed CSFR. The Leader of the Christian Union is the most senior politician within the Christian Union ( nl, ChristenUnie, CU) in the Netherlands. 2006 Dutch Municipal Elections
The Dutch municipal elections of 2006 were held on 7 March 2006. About 11.8 million people could vote in 419 municipalities. Due to local redistricting, 15 municipalities have already held elections in January 2006 and 24 municipalities will hold elections in November 2006. In some cities, such as Amsterdam, there were two elections, for the municipality and for the ' stadsdeelraden' (borough councils). Elburg
Elburg () is a municipality and a city in the province of Gelderland, Netherlands. History There is evidence of a Neolithic settlement at Elburg consisting of stone tools and pottery shards. From Roman times there are names and shards of earthenware which suggest that there was an army camp at the site of Elburg. The earliest extant written record of Elburg is from 796 AD. Between 1392 and 1396 Elburg was rebuilt with a moat and a city wall, together with a gridiron street plan.
