Mirchi (film)
''Mirchi'' () is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by debutante Koratala Siva, and produced by UV Creations. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay with Sathyaraj, Nadhiya, Sampath Raj, Adithya Menon, Subbaraju and Brahmanandam featuring in supporting roles. The film was tentatively titled ''Vaaradhi'', but was later renamed as ''Mirchi''. ''Mirchi'' was one of the highest grossing Telugu films of the year 2013. The film has received six state Nandi Awards, including Nandi Award for Best Feature Film (Gold), and Nandi Award for Best First Film of a Director for 2013. Koratala Siva (born 15 June 1975) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. Koratala has directed films such as ''Mirchi'' (2013), ''Srimanthudu'' (2015), ''Janatha Garage'' (2016), '' Bharat Ane Nenu'' (2018) and ''Acharya'' (2022). Kailash Kher (born 7 July 1973) is an Indian music composer and singer. He sings songs with a music style influenced by Indian folk music and Sufi music. He was inspired by the classical musicians' Pandit Kumar Gandharva, Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, and the Qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
