Mirando Mrsić
Mirando Mrsić (born 14 October 1959) is a Croatian physician and politician who served as a Minister of Labour and Pension System in the centre left Government of Zoran Milanović from 23 December 2011 until 22 January 2016. Mrsić was born in Split, Croatia, Split on 14 October 1959. After finishing elementary and high school in Makarska, he enrolled at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, Zagreb School of Medicine from which he graduated in 1983. He received Ph.D. in biomedical sciences in 2000. Mrsić specialized in hematology. He was the campaign manager of the successful Croatian presidential election, 2009-2010, 2009-10 presidential campaign of Ivo Josipović. Mrsić was expelled from the Social Democratic Party of Croatia, Social Democratic Party in March 2018. In October 2018, he founded a new political party, the Democrats ( hr, Demokrati). Zoran Milanović
Zoran Milanović (; born 30 October 1966) is a Croatian politician serving as President of Croatia since 19 February 2020. Prior to assuming the presidency, he was prime minister from 2011 to 2016 and president of the Social Democratic Party from 2007 to 2016. After graduating from the Zagreb Faculty of Law, Milanović started working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He served as Advisor at the Croatian mission to the European Union and NATO in Brussels from 1996 to 1999. During the same year he joined the Social Democratic Party. In 1998 he earned his master's degree in European Union law at the Free University Brussels and was an assistant to the Croatian foreign minister for political multilateral affairs in 2003. The School of Medicine ( hr, Medicinski fakultet or MEF) in Zagreb is a Croatian medical school affiliated with the University of Zagreb. It is the oldest and biggest of the four medical schools in Croatia (the other three being in Osijek, Rijeka and Split), having been established in 1917 and with 1,775 students enrolled as of 2008. Ivo Josipović
Ivo Josipović (; born 28 August 1957) is a Croatian academic, jurist, and politician who served as President of Croatia from 2010 to 2015. Josipović entered politics as a member of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia (SKJ), and played a key role in the democratic transformation of the League of Communists of Croatia (SKH) into the Social Democratic Party (SDP) as the author of its first statute. He left politics in 1994, but returned in 2003, winning a seat in the Croatian Parliament running as an independent candidate on the SDP party list. He won re-election to parliament as a member of the SDP in 2007.
