"Miracles Happen (When You Believe)" is a song by American singer Myra. It was the first single from her 2001 self-titled album '' Myra''. The song was used in the 2001 Disney film ''The Princess Diaries''. In 2002, the song was nominated for an ALMA Award for "Outstanding Song in a Motion Picture Soundtrack". Mayra Ambriz (born May 21, 1986), known under the mononym Myra, is an American singer of Mexican descent. She is the first Latina artist to sign with Hollywood Records and Walt Disney Records. Scott Marshall (born January 17, 1969) is an American film director. Early life Marshall was born and raised in Los Angeles, the son of Barbara Wells, a nurse, and Garry Marshall; he is also the nephew of Penny Marshall.
