Mir Mustafa
Ghulam Mustafa Mir was an Indian Politician and a member of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. He served twice as Member of the Legislative Assembly from Chadoora (Vidhan Sabha constituency) first in 1972 from the Indian National Congress and then in 1987 as an Independent Politician. Mir was abducted and assassinated by militants in March 1990. A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district (constituency) to the legislature of State government in the Indian system of government. From each constituency, the people elect one representative who then becomes a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Each state has between seven and nine MLAs for every Member of Parliament (MP) that it has in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's bicameral parliament. Javaid Mustafa Mir
Javaid Mustafa Mir (born 24 December 1967) is an Indian politician and a former minister of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. He was elected to the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly in 2002, 2008 and 2014 from Chadoora. Presently, he is the Vice President of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party. Early life and education Javaid Mustafa Mir was born in a political family in 1967. His father, Mir Mustafa was elected as MLA from Chadoora (Vidhan Sabha constituency) twice in 1987 and 1990. The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly also known as the Jammu and Kashmir Vidhan Sabha is the legislature of Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
