Mir Hazar Khan Khoso
Mir Hazar Khan Khoso (, ) (30 September 1929 – 26 June 2021) was a Pakistani jurist who was the caretaker prime minister of Pakistan from 25 March to 5 June 2013. Khoso was a judge who previously served as the Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court, chief justice of the Federal Shariat Court and served as the interim prime minister ahead of the 2013 Pakistani general election, general elections scheduled in May 2013. Personal life Khoso was born in Goth Azam Khan village in the Jaffarabad District of the South-East Balochistan, Pakistan, Balochistan Province of Pakistan, on 30 September 1929. During his youth, Khoso participated actively in the Pakistan Movement and noted Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Jinnah as his inspiration. The Pakistan Movement ( ur, , translit=Teḥrīk-e-Pākistān) was a political movement in the first half of the 20th century that aimed for the creation of Pakistan from the Muslim-majority areas of British India. It was connected to the perceived need for self-determination for Muslims under British rule at the time. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, a barrister and politician led this movement after the Lahore Resolution was passed by All-India Muslim League on March 23rd, 1940 and Ashraf Ali Thanwi as a religious scholar supported it. Thanwi's disciples Shabbir Ahmad Usmani and Zafar Ahmad Usmani were key players in religious support for the creation of Pakistan. Jafarabad ( bal, جعفر آباد, ur, , Sindhi: جعفرآباد ضلو) district lies in southeast of the Pakistani province of Balochistan. Jafarabad's headquarters are at Dera Allah Yar, also known as Jhatpat among locals. Jaffarabad District is sub-divided into three tehsils. Geo Television Network is a television channel based in Pakistan. It was established in May 2002 and is owned by the Jang Media Group. The channel began its test transmission on 14 August 2002, with regular transmission beginning on 1 October 2002. History Geo Network was founded in May 2002 by Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman. It started out with the launch of its flagship channel Geo News in October 2002. Hamid Mir joined the channel and became one of the first journalists to join Geo News. He started hosting the political talk show Capital Talk which is the flagship show of Geo News. 2013 Pakistani General Election
General elections were held in Pakistan on Saturday 11 May 2013 to elect the members of the 14th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies. The three major parties were the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) led by Nawaz Sharif, the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) led by President Asif Ali Zardari and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by Imran Khan. Prior to the elections, the ruling PPP formed an alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and Awami National Party, while the main opposition party, the PML-N allied with the Pakistan Muslim League (F) and Baloch parties. The Federal Shariat Court (FSC) is a constitutional court of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which has the power to examine and determine whether the laws of the country comply with Sharia law. The court was established in 1980 during the government of the President General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. It is located in the federal capital, Islamabad.
