Mir Bahadur Khan Khoso
Mir Bahadur Khan Khoso (1845–1930) was the son of Mir Dil Murad Khan Khoso, who during the 1857 Mutiny revolted against the British in Jacobabad. Bahadur Khan was a well known Zamindar (landlord) of Jacobabad District who was said to own a sizable portion of the agricultural lands in Jacobabad. He was an inventive genius who used to assist government officials with various agricultural problems. He had lands in all the talukas of District Jacobabad but most of the lands were in taluka Thul. He and his family served the district from colonial rule till today. He had four sons: Khan Bahadur Dilmurad Khan (Chairman District Council), Mir Hasan Khan I, Khan Sahib Shahal Khan (MLA West Pakistan Assembly 1953-56) and Sikandar Khan Khoso Mir Sikandar Khan Khoso (1912–1975) was a poet, politician, and landowner from the Jacobabad District in Sindh, Pakistan. Dil Murad Khan
Dil Murad Khan was a Baloch people, Baloch warrior who opposed British invasion in his area by revolting against them in 1857. Being a sardar of the Khosa (tribe), Rind tribe he had a good support of his tribesmen plus that of other sardars of the area, namely Sardar Darya Khan Jakhrani and Syed Inayat Ali Shah. On the evening before they were to fight with British troops someone leaked information about the whereabouts of the warriors and their plan. Who leaked this information to British is not known. All the three sardars were arrested taken to some unknown area and then Dil Murad Khan was sentenced to life imprisonment, in the Andaman Islands while his companions were sent to Aden. After his arrest his brother Shahal Khan I was imprisoned at Mach jail and was made to crush glasses that affected his eyesight and became blind and later on released as a blind person.
