Minnetrista Boulevard Historic District
Minnetrista Boulevard Historic District is a national historic district in the city of Muncie, in Delaware County, East Central Indiana. It is located along the northeast side of Minnetrista Boulevard and the north bank of the White River, about a mile north of downtown Muncie. Description The historic district encompasses five distinguished homes and their associated secondary structures, in a predominantly residential section of Muncie. The district developed between c.1895 and 1910, and includes notable examples of Shingle style, Tudor Revival, Georgian Revival, and Colonial Revival style architecture. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012. The Ball brothers (Lucius, William, Edmund, Frank, and George) were five American industrialists and philanthropists who established a manufacturing business in New York and Indiana in the 1880s that was renamed the Ball Corporation in 1969.
