Minneapolis City SC (known informally as Mpls City SC or The Crows) is an American soccer club based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Founded in 2016, the team plays in the USL League Two, the top national league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The club won three straight NPSL North Conference championships (2018, 2019 and 2021) before joining League Two. Their nickname is The Crows, coined by the club's supporters, which comes from the "Mega Murder" of crows that roost in Minneapolis. History Founded in 2016 as an offshoot of Stegman's Soccer Club, team managing director Dan Hoedeman stated that his goal with the team is to re-create the local feeling of the Minnesota Thunder's early days. As such, every player is a Minnesota resident and the team is owned by "members" who make important decisions for the team, such as the league, colors, logo and budget. Brandon Bye
Brandon Bye (born November 29, 1995) is an American professional soccer player who plays for Major League Soccer club New England Revolution. Career College and amateur Bye was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and grew up in nearby Portage, Michigan. He played his college career at Western Michigan University where he played mainly as a winger. Duluth FC is an amateur men's soccer club based in Duluth, Minnesota. The club currently competes in the NPSL Midwest Region’s North Conference. The club's colors are green and blue, and plays its home matches at Duluth East High School's Ordean Stadium. History Duluth FC was founded in 2015 by Father Timothy Sas. Croatian Eagles Soccer Club ( hr, NK Hrvatski Orlovi) is an American soccer team that plays in the United Premier Soccer League. The club was established in 1922 by Croatian Americans, and is one of the oldest continuously run soccer club in North America. According to legend, the club was originally going to be named "NK Hrvatski Sokole" but the founders of the club were not able to translate "Sokole". The Cedar Rapids Rampage United were an American amateur Soccer franchise based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa that played in the Premier League of America. Founded in March 2016, the team made its debut in the Premier League of America with the 2016 season. The team's name and logo were revealed at a press conference on March 3, 2016. They played the 2016 season at Coe College's Clark Field and the 2017 season at the 15,000-capacity Kingston Stadium, which is used mostly for American football and soccer matches.
