The Ministry of Agriculture is a government ministry in Zambia. It is headed by the Minister of Agriculture and is mandated to design, implement and manage the government's activities in the agricultural sector. The ministry managed agricultural, fisheries and livestock activities until 2015, when the departments of fisheries and livestock were merged to form the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. Amusaa Mwanamwambwa
Amusaa Katunda Mwanamwambwa (born 15 May 1940) is a Zambian former politician. He was a member of the National Assembly for Liuwa between 1991 and 1998, also holding several ministerial posts. In 1998 he became Speaker of the National Assembly, a post he held until 2011. Biography Mwanamwambwa was born in 1940 into a family from Imwambo in the Kalabo District. Micheal Zondani Katambo (born 16 September 1969) is a Zambia politician. He is currently a Member of the National Assembly and Minister of Agriculture. Katambo has also been a Member of Parliament for Masaiti constituency since 2011. Given Lubinda is a Zambian politician who served in the Cabinet of Zambia as Minister of Justice. He is a former Member of Parliament for the National Assembly of Zambia for Kabwata Constituency in Lusaka. He was first elected as Kabwata MP in 2001 under the UPND ticket and was Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2012 to 2013.
