The People's Commissariat of the Shipbuilding Industry of the USSR (''Народный комиссариат судостроительной промышленности CCCP'') was one of the central offices in the Soviet Union, the equivalent of a ministry, which oversaw the production of shipbuilding. On January 11, 1939 the current People's Commissariat of Defence Industry of the USSR (''Народный комиссариат оборонной промышленности'') was divided into several departments, including II Main Board responsibility for shipbuilding, transformed into the People's Commissariat of the Shipbuilding Industry. Ivan Fyodorovich (Hovhannes Tevadrosovich) Tevosian (russian: Иван Федорович (Тевадросович) Тевосян, hy, Հովհաննես Թևատրոսի Թևոսյան 1902, Shushi – 1958, Moscow) was a Soviet politician of Armenian descent. Ivan Nosenko
Ivan Isidorovich Nosenko (Russian: Иван Исидорович Носенко; 19 April 1902 – 2 August 1956) was a Soviet politician and from 1939 until his death in 1956. He was the People's Commissar for Shipbuilding of the USSR. He was the father of notable Soviet defector and KGB officer, Yuri Nosenko. Nosenko was born in the village of Berlevets in Oryol Governorate (in present-day Dubrovsky District, Bryansk Oblast) and joined the Nikolayev Shipyard as a messenger boy in 1914. He became a trade unionist, and after completing military service and graduating from the Nikolayev Shipbuilding Institute, returned to the yard as a manager. Nosenko joined the All-Union Communist Party (b) in 1925. Between 1938 and 1939 he was the managing director of the Baltic Yard in Leningrad. Viacheslav Aleksandrovich Malyshev (Russian: Вячеслав Александрович Малышев) (3 December 1902 — 20 February 1957) was a Soviet statesman who was one of the leading figures of Soviet industry during the 1940s and 1950s. Mikhail Yegorov (politician)
Mikhail Alekseyevich Yegorov (russian: Михаил Алексеевич Егоров; May 5, 1923 – June 20, 1975), along with Meliton Kantaria and Alexei Berest, was one of the three soldiers credited with raising the Soviet flag over the Reichstag on the 2 May 1945 after the Battle of Berlin. Yegorov joined the partisans during the Nazi occupation, then enlisted in the Red Army in late 1944 as an infantry scout. He worked at a dairy farm after leaving the army. Igor Belousov
Igor Belousov (1928–2005) was a Russian statesman who held several posts in the Soviet era and after it. He was the Soviet minister of the shipbuilding industry and deputy premier in the 1980s. Early life and education Belousov was born in Leningrad on 15 January 1928. In 1952 he graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute receiving a degree in ship engineering.
