The Cabinet of Egypt ( ar, مجلس وزراء مصر) is the chief executive body of the Arab Republic of Egypt. It consists of the Prime Minister and the cabinet ministers. The General Organization for Physical Planning (GOPP) is Egypt's national level regional planning body and is affiliated to the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities. Osman Ahmed Osman ( ar, عثمان أحمد عثمان) (April 6, 1917 – May 1, 1999) was an Egyptian engineer, contractor, entrepreneur, and politician. Known commonly as el-mo'alim ("the boss"), Osman founded the Arab Contractors (the largest Arab contracting firm between the 1960s and 1980s) and led the Egyptian effort to build the Aswan Dam. Hasaballah Mohamed El Kafrawy ( ar, حسب الله الكفراوي; 22 November 1930 – 5 August 2021) was an Egyptian engineer who served as Minister of Housing of Egypt, from September 1977 to October 1993 and as governor of the Damietta Governorate (1976–1977).
