The Ministry of Family Welfare and Demography ( sr-Cyrl, Министарство за бригу о породици и демографију, Ministarstvo za brigu o porodici i demografiju) is a ministry in the Government of Serbia, created by a vote of the National Assembly of Serbia on 26 October 2020. Ratko Dmitrović was appointed as minister two days later when Ana Brnabić's Second cabinet of Ana Brnabić, second cabinet was constituted. At the time of the ministry's creation, it was noted that its purpose was to address issues relating to "family protection, marriage, population policy, family planning, the promotion and development of demographic policy, birth rate, and quality and life expectancy." The Serbian Patriotic Alliance ( sr-cyrl, Српски патриотски савез, Srpski patriotski savez, SPAS; ) was a right-wing populist and national-conservative political party in Serbia. It was led by Aleksandar Šapić. It was founded as the "Movement of United Local Self-Governments" (PULS) in 2010, and in subsequent years, it served in several right-wing coalitions. Shortly after the 2018 Belgrade City Assembly election, it merged with the civic group "Aleksandar Šapić – Mayor" to form SPAS.
