Ministry Of Digital Affairs (Poland)
The Ministry of Digital Affairs (Polish: ''Ministerstwo Cyfryzacji'') was a ministry of the Polish government founded in December 2015 and dissolved in October 2020. Split from the Ministry of Administration and Digitization, the Ministry was responsible for matters regarding development in the cyber sphere for Poland. The first Minister of Digital Affairs was Anna Streżyńska. After she was recalled on 9 January 2018, the Ministry was under personal supervision of the Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki until 17 April 2018 when Marek Zagórski was appointed the Minister of Digital Affairs. The ministry was made defunct in 2020 following a Council of Ministers decree. Responsibilities The Ministry of Digital Affairs was to develop infrastructure related to broadband, to support the creation of web content in Poland and electronic services. The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland (Polish: ''Rada Ministrów Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej'') is the collective executive decision-making body of the Polish government. The cabinet consists of the Prime minister, also known as the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, the Deputy Prime Minister, who acts as a vice-chairman of the council, and other ministers. The current competences and procedures of the cabinet are described between Articles 146 to 162 of the constitution. Mateusz Morawiecki
Mateusz Jakub Morawiecki (; born 20 June 1968) is a Polish economist, historian and politician who has served as prime minister of Poland since 2017. A member of Law and Justice (PiS), he previously served in the cabinet of prime minister Beata Szydło as deputy prime minister from 2015 to 2017, Minister of Development from 2015 to 2018 and Minister of Finance from 2016 to 2018. Anna Maria Streżyńska (née Bajorek) (born 11 May 1967 in Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish politician. She was the Polish Minister of Digital Affairs between 16 November 2015 and 9 January 2018. The Ministry of Administration and Digitization ( pl, Ministerstwo Administracji i Cyfryzacji) was formed on 21 November 2011, from a reorganisation of the '' Ministry of Infrastructure'' and the '' Ministry of Interior and Administration''. The Ministry was disbanded on 16 November 2015 based on the regulation of the Council of Ministers, and partially superseded by the Ministry of Digital Affairs.
