The Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia ( ab, Аԥсны Атәлахьчара Аминистрра, russian: Министерства обороны Абхазия) is an agency of the partially recognized Government of the Republic of Abkhazia. It is the executive body in implementing defense policies in of the Abkhazian Armed Forces. It's acts as a bridge between the government and the military. The agency is headed by an official known as the Minister for Defence. The Minister of Defense is the executive minister responsible for the management of the armed forces. The current Minister of Defense is Colonel General Vladimir Anua. The Ministry of Defence was officially created on 12 October 1992 alongside the General Staff. They were created after the start of the war with Georgia. Sukhumi
Sukhumi (russian: Суху́м(и), ) or Sokhumi ( ka, სოხუმი, ), also known by its Abkhaz name Aqwa ( ab, Аҟәа, ''Aqwa''), is a city in a wide bay on the Black Sea's eastern coast. The Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival is an annual military music event and military tattoo held in Moscow on Red Square.
