A ministry of transport or transportation is a ministry responsible for transportation within a country. It usually is administered by the ''minister for transport''. The term is also sometimes applied to the departments or other government agencies administering transport in nations who do not employ ministers. Specific responsibilities may include overseeing road safety, civil aviation, maritime transport, rail transport, developing government transportation policy, organizing public transport, and the maintenance and construction of infrastructural projects. Some ministries have additional responsibilities in related policy areas such as infrastructure, public works, waterworks, construction, communication, housing and economic activities, such as industry and trade. Philippe Henry (born 23 April 1971) is a Belgian politician. Biography Henry was born in Charleroi. He attended University of Liège, becoming the president of the student council, served as student delegate from the University of Liège and the head of Federation of Francophone students in 1994–1995. In 1995, he graduated with a degree in civil engineering. He finished a master's degree in management in 1997. He worked as a researcher from 1995 to 1999. Humanist Democratic Centre (french: Centre Démocrate Humaniste, CDH) was a Christian democratic and centrist French-speaking political party in Belgium. The party originated in the split in 1972 of the unitary Christian Social Party (PSC-CVP) which had been the country's governing party for much of the post-war period. André Antoine (born 3 February 1960) is a Belgian politician, minister and mayor. He has been a member of the francophone cdH (''Humanist Democratic Centre party'') since 1980. He was elected to the presidency of the Wallon parliament on 22 July 2014. Life Early years André Antoine was born in Leuven/Louvain. He comes from a farming family. He achieved his Licentiate in Law at the University of Louvain (UCLouvain) in Louvain-la-Neuve in 1983. His degree in Higher European Studies followed a year later.
