Minister For Regulation
The Minister for Regulation is a minister in the government of New Zealand with the responsibility to assess and improve the quality of new and existing legislation and regulations. Established in 2023, it also focuses on ensuring regulations oblige by regulatory principles, including the rule of law, protection of individual liberties, property rights, the imposition of taxes, and good lawmaking processes. The current minister is David Seymour, the leader of the ACT Party. Christopher Luxon
Christopher Mark Luxon (born 19 July 1970) is a New Zealand politician and former business executive who is currently serving as leader of the New Zealand National Party and the Leader of the Opposition. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Botany electorate since the 2020 general election. He was the chief executive officer of Air New Zealand from 2012 to 2019.
