The Minister for the Climate (Swedish: ''Klimatministern'') is a cabinet minister within the Swedish Government and appointed by the Prime Minister of Sweden. Romina Pourmokhtari
Romina Pourmokhtari (born 12 November 1995) is a Swedish politician for the Liberals. She has served as the Minister for the Environment since 2022 in the Kristersson Cabinet. She has also been a member of the Riksdag for Stockholm Municipality since 2022. She is the youngest-ever minister of a cabinet in Sweden, ascending her position at the age of 26. Political career Pourmokhtari became the president of the Liberal Youth of Sweden in 2019. Isabella Lövin (born 3 February 1963) is a Swedish politician for the Green Party. She served as Minister for International Development Cooperation from 2014 to 2019, as Minister for the Environment from 2019 to 2021 and as honorary Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden from 2016 to 2021. The Ministry of the Environment ( sv, Miljödepartementet) was a government ministry in Sweden responsible for the government's environmental policies regarding chemicals, natural environment and biological diversity. It was dissolved in 2022 by the government of Ulf Kristersson, with environmental issues being relocated to the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation. Ulf Hjalmar Ed Kristersson (born 29 December 1963) is a Swedish politician who has been serving as Prime Minister of Sweden since October 2022. He has been the leader of the Moderate Party (M) since October 2017 and a member of the Riksdag (MP) for Södermanland County since 2014 and for Stockholm County from 1991 to 2000.
