Ben Carroll
Benjamin Alan Carroll (born 12 July 1975) is an Australian politician. He is the representative for the seat of Niddrie in the Victorian Legislative Assembly. Early years and education Ben was born in Airport West, Victoria.Lucas, ClayNiddrie, at least, swings Labor's way ''The Age'', 26 March 2012. He attended primary school at St Christopher's Primary, and high school at St Bernard's College. He then studied law at La Trobe University, graduating with honours in 2000. He was admitted as a legal solicitor in 2010. He holds a masters in law from La Trobe, having commenced the degree subsequent to his 2012 election. Prior to entering politics Ben worked as a sales assistant for Kmart in Airport West, and for the insurance company AAMI in its motor vehicles division. Jaala Pulford
Jaala Pulford (born 14 February 1974) is a former Australian politician. She was a Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Council between 2006 and 2022, representing the Western Victoria Region. Pulford was Minister for Agriculture, Minister for Regional Development and Deputy Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council between 4 December 2014 and 30 November 2018 following the election of the Andrews Labor Government. She was appointed Minister for Roads, Road Safety and the TAC, and Fishing and Boating on 30 November 2018. The Minister for Medical Research was a minister in the New South Wales Government and has responsibilities which included medical research in New South Wales, Australia. History The New South Wales government was involved in medical research since 1871 with the establishment of the position of Analytical Chemist. The NSW Medical Research Council was established on 18 September 1946 with objectives that included (1) carrying out a survey of medical research being conducted; (2) advising the government as to the expenditure of money upon medical research and the merits of reputed cures or methods of treatment. The Council however ceased to operate within a year of its establishment. Mary-Anne Thomas
Mary-Anne Thomas (born 26 February 1963) is an Australian politician. She has been a Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since November 2014, representing the electorate of Macedon. She has served as Victoria's Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services since June 2022. She was previously the Agriculture and Minister for Regional Development from December 2020.
