Minimol Abraham
Minimol Abraham, also known as Minomol Abraham (born 27 March 1988), is an Indian female volleyball player and current captain of the India women's national volleyball team. Minimol also plays for the domestic volleyball club India Railways in domestic league matches. She is considered one of the finest women volleyball players to have emerged from the state of Kerala along with Aswani Kiran, Poornima and Princy Joseph. In 2012, she involved in a police case in which she was suspected to have harassed by three young men who allegedly pushed her down while she was walking and the case was later filed as an accidental case. Career She was selected to represent India at the 2010 Asian Games, her maiden Asian Games appearance and was part of the squad which finished 9th in the women's team event. Kerala

India Women's National Volleyball Team
Indian women's national volleyball team represents India in international competitions and is managed by the Volleyball Federation of India. In July 2018, Minimol Abraham was appointed as the captain of the Indian national team for the 2018 Asian Games. The team won the gold medal at the Volleyball at the 2019 South Asian Games, 2019 South Asian Games as they defeated Nepal women's national volleyball team, Nepal in the final. Aswani Kiran (born 15 May 1985) is a former Indian female volleyball player who has also captained the India women's national volleyball team internationally. India participated in the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China between 12–27 November 2010. The contingent was led by Gagan Narang. India put up its best ever performance at Asian Games. They finished the games at 65 medals including 14 golds which is India's second best performance ever since inception of Asian Games in 1951. 2010 Asian Games
The 2010 Asian Games (), officially known as the XVI Asian Games () and also known as Guangzhou 2010 (), was a regional multi-sport event celebrated from November 12 to November 27, 2010 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, although several events commenced earlier on November 7, 2010. It was the second time China had hosted the Asian Games, with the first one being Asian Games 1990 hosted in Beijing. The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The Games were regulated by the Asian Games Federation (AGF) from the first Games in New Delhi, India, until the 1978 Games.
