Mindy Fee
Melinda "Mindy" Fee is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. She has represented the 37th District, based in northern Lancaster County, since 2013. Prior to taking office, Fee attended the Manheim Central School District and received a bachelor's degree in economics from Millersville University. She has spent much of her working career in sales management, most recently with TransAmerican Office Furniture. She is the widow of former Manheim mayor and local district magistrate Tom Fee, and has three children. In the 2012 Republican primary for the 37th District, brought about by incumbent State Representative Tom Creighton's decision to retire, Fee defeated Stephen Black and Barry McFarland, after first winning a straw poll of local Republican Party committee members. Tom Creighton
Thomas C. Creighton (February 19, 1945 – July 24, 2022) was a Republican Party member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 37th District, serving from 2001 through 2013. Career Creighton held a number of positions prior to his political career, including a plant engineer/manager for Kellogg Company a research engineer for the National Bureau of Standards and a research scientist for Armstrong World Industries. Creighton has also been an instructor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a science teacher in the Altoona Area School District. His prior elected offices include Judge of Elections and Township Supervisor in Rapho Township, Pennsylvania. Creighton was elected in 2000 to replace Katie True, who retired from the House in order to run for Pennsylvania Auditor General. He was re-elected three times. Manheim, Pennsylvania
Manheim is a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,064 at the 2020 census. The borough was named after Kerpen- Manheim, Germany. History Manheim was laid out by Henry William Stiegel in 1762 on a land tract in Rapho Township, though it wasn't incorporated until 1838. He set out to build an industrial empire and founded the Manheim Glassworks. After financial failure, he was forced to sell the development in 1775. After several failed attempts at resurrecting the glassworks, it closed in 1780. The first railroad train came into Manheim on January 1, 1862, with the completion of the first division of the Columbia and Reading Railroad. In 1884, another forward step was the laying of water pipes and the beginning of service by the Manheim Electric Company, which set up a plant in Bomberger's Mill at the end of Mill Street.
