Mind Ripper
''Mind Ripper'' (also known as ''The Hills Have Eyes III'', ''The Outpost'' or ''Wes Craven Presents Mind Ripper'') is a 1995 American horror film released on HBO. It stars Lance Henriksen and Giovanni Ribisi. Although it is marketed in some areas as a sequel to the original ''The Hills Have Eyes'' and ''The Hills Have Eyes Part II'', no actors, characters, or scenarios link it to those films. Its only connection is producer Wes Craven, who wrote and directed the other two films, and his son Jonathan Craven, who is credited as a writer. Plot Set in a remote desert location, government scientists Alex, Joanne, Frank, Larry and Rob perform reanimation experiments in an underground nuclear facility. The goal is to create a superhuman. Jonathan Craven
Jonathan Craven (born March 20, 1965) is an American writer and director. He is the son of the late filmmaker Wes Craven and Bonnie Broecker. He co-wrote the horror sequel ''The Hills Have Eyes 2'' and worked on the short-lived NBC horror series ''Nightmare Cafe''. He manages the group the Chapin Sisters. He also co-produced the 2009 remake of ''The Last House on the Left'', which is a remake of the 1972 version written, directed and edited by his father, Wes Craven. Resurrection or anastasis is the concept of coming back to life after death. In a number of religions, a dying-and-rising god is a deity which dies and is resurrected. ''The Hills Have Eyes'' is an American horror franchise that consists of four horror films, as well as a graphic novel and merchandise. The first film was released in 1977, '' The Hills Have Eyes''; the series was rebooted in a 2006 remake. The films focus on a group of people stranded in a desert who become hunted by a clan of deformed cannibals in the surrounding hills.
