Laurie Faria Stolarz is an American author of young adult fiction novels featuring teenage protagonists, best known of which are the series of books beginning with '' Blue is for Nightmares''. Background Stolarz grew up in Salem, Massachusetts, a city widely known for the Salem witch trials of 1692, the influence of which can be seen in the magical and witchcraft and Wiccan elements of her books.
