Players Jackson Chourio Jackson Bryan Chourio (born March 11, 2004) is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. Chourio signed with the Milwaukee Brewers as an international free agent in January 2021. He made his professional debut that season with the Dominican Summer League Brewers. Chourio started 2022 with the Class A Carolina Mudcats, for whom he batted .324(5th in the league)/.373/.600(3rd) in 250 at bats, with 23 doubles (8th), 12 home runs (9th), and 10 stolen bases. AZL Brewers
The Arizona Complex League Brewers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Arizona Complex League (ACL) and a Rookie-level affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The are located in Phoenix, Arizona, and play their home games at American Family Fields of Phoenix. Helena Brewers
The Helena Brewers were a Minor League Baseball team in the Pioneer League located in Helena, Montana, from 1978 to 2018. 2017 MLB Draft
The 2017 Major League Baseball (MLB) First-Year Player Draft began on June 12, 2017. The draft assigned amateur baseball players to MLB teams. The first 36 picks, including the first round and compensatory picks, were broadcast on MLB Network on June 12, while the remainder of the draft was live streamed on MLB.com on June 13 and 14. Johnny Bench Award
The Buster Posey Award, formerly known as the Johnny Bench Award, was created in 2000 to honor college baseball's top catcher in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The award is administered by the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission and presented after the conclusion of the College World Series. Originally named for Johnny Bench, it was renamed in honor of Buster Posey in 2019. Schools nominate their catchers during the season to create the official watch list. A select committee of 20 individuals narrows the watch list down to the semifinalists.
