Simonson Brook, also known as Sunonson Brook, is a tributary of the Millstone River in southern Franklin Park, Somerset County, New Jersey in the United States. Millstones or mill stones are stones used in gristmills, for grinding wheat or other grains. They are sometimes referred to as grindstones or grinding stones. The Delaware and Raritan Canal (D&R Canal) is a canal in central New Jersey, built in the 1830s, that served to connect the Delaware River to the Raritan River.
