The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau. Black River State Forest
Black River State Forest is a state forest located in the western half of Jackson County, Wisconsin near Black River Falls, Wisconsin, U.S.A.. It is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The park has campsites, trails, and allows for hunting, ATV, and canoeing. It is at the edge of the Driftless Area of Wisconsin, and is more rugged than what is found in the eastern half of the county. Interstate 94 (I-94) is an east–west Interstate Highway connecting the Great Lakes and northern Great Plains regions of the United States.
