''Million Dollar Listing'' is an American reality television series franchise on the Bravo network. Each show chronicles the professional and personal lives of real estate agents based in a major American city as they sell high-end properties, giving viewers an inside look at the world of high-priced real estate. The franchise began with the show ''Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles'' (originally ''Million Dollar Listing''), which debuted on August 29, 2006. That series has since aired 14 seasons. It was a part of Nexstar Media Group's Zap2it television news/listings site. Ryan Matthew Serhant (born July 2, 1984) is an American real estate broker, author, and reality television actor. He currently stars on Bravo's television series ''Million Dollar Listing New York'' and its spin-off ''Sell it Like Serhant.'' Serhant runs his own New York real estate firm. Early life and education Serhant was born in Houston, Texas to John and Ellen Serhant. His father is a former Vice Chairman of State Street Global Advisors and advisor to GoldenTree Asset Management.
