Angie Milliken
Angie Milliken is an Australian actress. Life Milliken was born and raised in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology then turned to acting. Milliken first became noticed when she starred in the 1991 made-for-TV movie '' Act of Necessity'' for which she was nominated for an Australian Film Institute (AFI) Award. Throughout the 1990s, Milliken starred as Jo Moody in a series of telemovies with Robert Taylor, called ''The Feds'', and in 1999 starred in '' Paperback Hero'', as well as guest starring on ''Farscape'' and '' Stingers''. In 1992 she was in the film ''Eight Ball'' and in 1996 she memorably featured in ''Dead Heart''. Nicholas Milliken
Nicholas Milliken is a Canadian politician who was elected in the 2019 Alberta general election to represent the electoral district of Calgary-Currie in the 30th Alberta Legislature. Milliken defeated incumbent Brian Malkinson by a margin of less than 1% (191 votes). Milliken was elected Deputy Chair of Committees in the Alberta Legislature on May 21, 2019. In July 2020 Milliken came under fire for, while sitting as Speaker, ejecting NDP member Marie Renaud out of the chamber during debate. Renaud noted that UCP members were bullying her while she was standing to speak to a bill. When Renaud refused to apologize for her comments, she was ejected. Milliken's impartiality was called into question since he focused the conflict on Renaud while failing to address the UCP members' behaviour. William Grawn Milliken (March 26, 1922 – October 18, 2019) was an American businessman and politician who served as the 44th governor of Michigan. A member of the Republican Party, he is the longest-serving governor in Michigan history, serving more than three full four-year terms from 1969 to 1983. During this period he dealt with dramatic changes to the state economy, due to industrial restructuring and challenges to the auto industry, resulting in loss of jobs and population from Detroit, the state's largest city. He also oversaw the PBB crisis and adopted a policy of environmental protection and conservation. He served as President and then CEO of his family's company, Milliken & Company, from 1947 until 2005. He continued to serve as Chairman of the Board until his death in 2010. Peter Andrew Stewart Milliken (born November 12, 1946) is a Canadian lawyer and politician. He was a member of the House of Commons of Canada from 1988 until his retirement in 2011 and served as Speaker of the House for 10 years beginning in 2001. Milliken represented the Ontario riding of Kingston and the Islands as a member of the Liberal Party. On October 12, 2009, he became the longest serving Speaker of the House of Commons in Canadian history. His Speakership was notable for the number of tie-breaking votes he was required to make as well as for making several historic rulings. Milliken also has the unique distinction of being the first Speaker to preside over four Parliaments. Benjamin Milliken (born 1728 Boston, Province of Massachusetts Bay died 1791 Bocabec, New Brunswick) was an American Loyalist, major landowner, mill and ship owner in Maine in the Province of Massachusetts Bay, British North America. He was the founder of Ellsworth, Maine (first called the Union River Settlement) in 1763, laid out and received the land grant for the Township of Bridgton, Maine (originally called Pondicherry) in 1765 and was one of the first settlers in Bocabec and St. Andrew's, New Brunswick in 1784.
