The stream is located in Hampshire County in the Eastern Panhandle of the U.S. state of West Virginia. Mill Run rises on Nathaniel Mountain and flows northeast, then northwest into the South Branch south of Romney near Hampshire Park on South Branch River Road (West Virginia Secondary Route 8). Headwaters and course Mill Run's headwaters lie in a hollow between South Branch Mountain (3028 feet) and Nathaniel Mountain (2739 feet) in the Nathaniel Mountain Wildlife Management Area. Mill Run (also known as Osterhout Creek or Osterhouts Creek) is a tributary of the Susquehanna River in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately long and flows through Tunkhannock Township and Overfield Township. The stream is not designated as an impaired waterbody. In its upper reaches, it flows through glacial drift, while in its lower reaches, it passes over a waterfall. Lakes in the stream's watershed include Flow Pond. A number of bridges have been constructed over Mill Run. A sawmill also used to be located on the stream. The stream's drainage basin is designated as a Coldwater Fishery and a Migratory Fishery. Course Mill Run begins in a lake between Middle Mountain and Osterhout Mountain in Tunkhannock Township. It flows in a southerly direction for several tenths of a mile before entering Flow Pond. Mill Run is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Blair County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. The CDP is in western Blair County, south of the center of Logan Township. It is bordered to the east by the city of Altoona and is often considered a neighborhood of the city. The community is in the valley of Mill Run, a stream which comes off the Allegheny Front to the west and flows southeast, then south, to join Beaverdam Creek west of Hollidaysburg. Allegheny Reservoir is just west of the CDP, and Mill Run Reservoir is upstream. Springfield Township is a township in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,730 at the 2020 census. The Connellsville Area School District serves the township. Normalville, Mill Run, Rogers Mill, and Pleasant Hill are unincorporated communities in the township. Fallingwater, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is located in Mill Run. Mill Run Playhouse
Mill Run Playhouse (aka Mill Run Theatre) was a 1,600 seat theatre in the round in Niles, Illinois. It was built in 1965 on the grounds of the Golf Mill Shopping Center. It was scheduled to open in June 1965 but torrential rains delayed the opening to July 2, 1965. It was demolished in August 1984. Its last show was a performance by Lou Rawls on August 1. History Mill Run was originally a venue for off-Broadway shows. It closed sometime in the late 1960s. In 1969, a group headed by Gerald Kaufman, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Donjo Medlevine (a former owner of the Chez Paris), leased the theater from Golf Mill Shopping Center.
