''Military'' is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Suraj, who had earlier directed ''Kunguma Pottu Gounder'' (2001). The film stars Sathyaraj and Rambha. The film, produced by " Metti Oli" S. Siddiq, had musical score by Deva and was released on 28 February 2003. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film ''Hitler'' (1996) starring Mammootty and Shobhana. Plot Madhavan, locally known as Military, is a protective brother of five younger sisters: Ammu, Seetha, Nandhini, Kamali and Archana. Their father remarried after his first wife's death, because of that his children does not speak to him. With his second wife, he has two daughters. Ammu, the eldest of Madhavan's sisters, was raped by her widower professor. Madhavan asked Ammu to marry the professor, who was quite old. The other sisters did not know about the matter. Suraj (director)
Suraj (born December 31, 1977) is an Indian film director who works primarily in Tamil films. He is best known for directing action and masala films. Career In 1996, Suraj began working as an assistant director to Sundar C. on his comedy films ''Ullathai Allitha'' and ''Mettukudi''. In 1997, he continued to assist Sundar C. on '' Arunachalam'' starring Rajinikanth and he was the co-director of the film ''Janakiraman''. Then, Suraj returned to assist Sundar C. in his films. In 2006, he made his directorial comeback through ''Thalai Nagaram'', starring his mentor Sundar C., Jyothirmayi and Vadivelu. The following year, Suraj made his third film ''Marudhamalai'', featured Arjun, Nila and again comedian Vadivelu. Vaiyapuri
Vaiyapuri (born 23 October 1968 as Ramakrishnan) is an Indian actor who has worked in Tamil-language films. He rose to fame by appearing in supporting roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s, often portraying supporting comedic characters. Chelladurai (1941 - 7 February 2015) was an Indian comedian who worked in Tamil-language films. He acted in over 350 films. Career Chelladurai made his film debut with ''Thooral Ninnu Pochchu'' (1982). He is known for his comic sequences with actor Vadivelu. He became famous for his role in '' Shree'' (2002) as the owner of a wine shop named Prabha. In the scene, Marimuthu (Vadivelu) calls the owner and asks when the shop will open. The owner tells him that the store closed. Vadivelu drinks alcohol and repeatedly disturbs the shop owner during the night. Death Chelladurai was admitted to Keezhpakkam Government Hospital in Chennai due to kidney issues on 8 February after having problems for several months.
