Milan Kujundžić
Milan Kujundžić (; born 27 April 1957) is a Croatian physician and politician who served as Minister of Health in the Cabinet of Andrej Plenković between 2016 and 2020. Career Kujundžić was born in the village of Ivanbegovina near Imotski, Croatia. He graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in 1982 and obtained his Ph.D. in medicine in 1992. Since 2005, Kujundžić serves as a head-master of Clinical Hospital Dubrava. Political career From 2004 to 2005, Kujundžić served as assistant of the Minister of Health and Social Welfare. A longtime member of Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), he resigned from the party following his defeat in party chairmanship election in May 2012, which was won by Tomislav Karamarko. Kujundžić then founded a right-wing political party Croatian Dawn, established in July 2013 but returned to HDZ in 2016. 2014–15 Croatian Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Croatia on 28 December 2014 and 11 January 2015, the sixth such elections since independence in 1991. Only four candidates contested the elections, the lowest number since 1997. Incumbent President Ivo Josipović, who had been elected as the candidate of the Social Democratic Party in 2009–2010 but ran as an independent, was eligible to seek reelection for a second and final five-year term. As no candidate received 50% of the vote in the first round in December 2014, a run-off took place in January 2015 between the two candidates with the most votes; Josipović and Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. Grabar-Kitarović went on to win the elections by a slim margin of 32,509 votes or 1.48%, making her Croatia's first female president. Tomislav Karamarko
Tomislav Karamarko (; born 25 May 1959) is a Croatian politician who served as First Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia from January to June 2016. He served in the Cabinet of Jadranka Kosor as Minister of the Interior from 2008 to 2011. Career Karamarko joined the Croatian Democratic Union in 1989 and in June 1991 he was named Chief of Cabinet of Josip Manolić, Prime Minister of Croatia. He continued to serve as Chief of Cabinet for Manolić's successor, Franjo Gregurić until September 1992 when he became Chief of Cabinet of the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Stjepan Mesić. A year later he became Director of the Zagreb Police Administration and in 1996 he was named Assistant Interior Minister. In 1998 he also became secretary of the Croatian Automobile Club.
