Miki Muster
Nikolaj Muster (22 November 1925 – 7 May 2018), known as Miki Muster, was a Slovenian academic sculptor, illustrator, cartoonist, and animator. He is viewed as a pioneer in the field of comics and animation in Slovenia, known for the series of comics featuring the characters Zvitorepec, Trdonja, and Lakotnik, and animated TV commercials. Biography Muster first got interested in animation when he saw Disney's ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs''. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Ljubljana, with a degree in sculpture. Even during the studies, he wished to join the Disney studios in the US, which was impossible given the post-war political situation. After completing only a couple of statues, he focused on drawing. Murska Sobota
Murska Sobota (, Slovenian abbreviation: ''MS'' ; german: Olsnitz;''Radkersburg und Luttenberg'' (map, 1:75,000). 1894. Vienna: K.u.k. Militärgeographisches Institut. hu, Muraszombat) is a town in northeastern Slovenia. It is the centre of the Municipality of Murska Sobota near the Mura River in the region of Prekmurje and is the regional capital. Name Officially, the town is known as Murska Sobota, although informally it is usually simply referred to as ''Sobota'' by its inhabitants and ''Murska'' by people from other parts of Slovenia. The settlement was first attested in written documents in 1297 as ''Belmura'' (and as ''Murazombatha'' in 1348 and ''Murazumbota'' in 1366). Nick Knatterton
Nick Knatterton is the name of a West German comic strip and the name of its main character, a private detective. The strip was drawn by (1913–1999) from 1950 to 1959. It was initially released in the German magazine ''Quick''. The visual style of the comics is cartoony, but still realistic enough for the comic to be taken as a (at least mostly) serious detective comic. It is characterised by its unique style of humour, most of which derives from allusions to current political affairs in the Federal Republic of Germany of the 1950s. Character The name Nick Knatterton is an allusion to Nick Carter and Nat Pinkerton. His full name is Nikolaus Kuno Freiherr von Knatter. He was born in Kyritz (also called "Kyritz an der Knatter") to Casimir Kuno von Knatter and Corinna Pimpsberg.
