Mikhailo Deyak
Mykhailo Deyak (born 14 February 1984 in Zolotarovo, Zakarpattia Oblast) is a Ukrainian painter working in the modern Transcarpathian School of painting. The basic elements of Deyak’s works are the expressions. The freshness of his impressions is conveyed through the range of colors presented in his works. Education 1999-2003 –he had been studying and then had graduated from Adalbert Erdeli's Uzhhorod College of Art. He was practicing under National artist of Ukraine V. Mykyta. From year 2003 – he became a student of National Academy of fine arts and architecture. He worked the landscape workshop of Professor V. Zabashta, taught by the assistant professor I. Melnychuk. Zolotarovo
Zolotarovo ( uk, Золотарьово, hu, Ötvösfalva, german: Solotarjowo), cz, Zlatary is a village located in the Khust Raion of Zakarpattia Oblast (Oblasts of Ukraine, province) of western Ukraine. The population at the 2001 census was 4,266 people. The village is governed by a council. The head of the council is Ivan Mikhailovich Babich. The village used to have a fruit factory. Zolotarovo has been twinned with Newport-on-Tay since 2002. Name According to one legend, the first goldsmiths in the village were good masters, made various dishes from the plates, and hammered for weaving. They also performed carpentry and blacksmithing works, for which they were called "goldsmiths", which means they had "golden hands". History The first written mention of the village dates was 1616. Zakarpattia Oblast
The Zakarpattia Oblast ( uk, Закарпатська область, Zakarpatska oblast) is an administrative oblast located in western Ukraine, mostly coterminous with the historical region of Carpathian Ruthenia. Its administrative centre is the city of Uzhhorod, Other major cities within the oblast include Mukachevo, Khust, Berehove, and Chop, the last of which is home to railroad transport infrastructure. Zakarpattia Oblast was established on 22 January 1946, after Czechoslovakia gave up its claim to the territory of '' Subcarpathian Ruthenia'' ( cs, Podkarpatská Rus) under a treaty between Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union. Adalbert Erdeli
Adalbert Erdeli (; ; May 25, 1891 - September 19, 1955) was a Hungarian and Ukrainian painter and writer, one of the main figures of midcentury Transcarpathian art. Erdelyi was born in Kelemenfalva, Austria-Hungary (today Zahattia in Ukraine). He studied at the Budapest Academy of Arts from 1911 through 1915, then taught in Mukachevo and Uzhhorod, when Transcarpathia already became part of Czechoslovakia. Along with fellow Budapest graduate and World War I veteran József Boksai, Erdelyi founded an art school in 1927, which eventually evolved into the Uzhhorod State Arts and Crafts College ( cz, Užhorodské státní vysoké školy uměleckoprůmyslové, hu, Kárpátaljai Képzőművészek Egyesülete). The National Art Museum of Ukraine ( uk, Національний Художній Музей України) is a museum dedicated to Ukrainian art in Kyiv, Ukraine. History The National Art Museum of Ukraine, which was the first museum in Kyiv to be freely open to the public, was founded at the end of the 19th century by the efforts of Ukrainian intellectuals. Goldens (Golden Section until 2022, uk, Золотое сечение, translit= Zolotoe sechnie, translit-std= ungegn) is a Ukrainian auction house. It was founded in November 19, 2004. It holds auctions, solo and group art exhibitions, and participates in charity projects.
